Today, we took our goth gift baskets to the LasRyds hearse show in Willow Springs. It turned out to be pretty profitable, probably our best outing ever, even though it rained the entire time.
We came home to find several streets in our neighborhood flooded, including our own. It was like being in a maze trying to find a way home, but we did eventually find a path that got us to our front door. We have a little water in the crawlspace, but nothing major. A house down the street has water up to its front door. We were lucky.
After we’ve dried out a bit, we’re heading out to dinner at Sweet Tomatos. There will be pictures of the hearses on my Flickr account tonight or tomorrow.
