Burn Baby, Burn

In case there wasn't enough death in the news recently, 175 people were killed last night when a nightclub burned down in Buenos Ares.

Did Fox News really need to refer to it as a "disco inferno"?

Huh?

Ok, I don't know how I pulled that off, but I got a "B" in my Distributed Databases class.

I wonder if Dr. Kenevan reads my blog and knows the crap I've been going through lately with work and everything. Anyway, thanks Dr. Kenevan for recognizing that I really am interested in the subject of distributed computing (hoping to do my thesis on it), and that the algorithms involved actually make sense to me…which is so unbelievable. I guess I just had a teacher who could put them in ways I understood.

This leaves me with a 3.86 GPA and ONE CLASS I NEED before I do my thesis and graduate.

I've been thinking about thesis topics lately. I wonder if they'll let me do something on distributed DNS? I have some neat ideas, but they depend on having a little more bandwidth available between DNS servers…
