I'm not feeling so hot, so I called in sick. I hate how I never get sick like normal people. I just get these stomach things where I feel icky and uncomfortable, but it's not like I have a fever or anything. Does that justify calling in? Oh well, I'd rather not be in the office feeling like this.
On the up side, I have time to write my three page paper that was assigned last night and due tomorrow. I swear this class is going to make me rip my hair out. The schedule is accelerated because it's the summer, I know. But I hate how my life pretty much shuts down while my classes are going on. I was going to make an impulse buy of a home humidifier at Home Depot this weekend and spend Saturday installing it. I get the feeling that's not going to be a possibility now. The first draft of my research paper is due next Tuesday.
Is it too late to change careers and become some kind of penguin researcher or something? I mean, I love warm weather and all but…gah!
My stomach is doing flip-flops. I'm trying to keep myself hydrated, but I end up sweating most of it out right away. At least the air conditioning is kind of working right now.

Well, Scott, I figured out why the A500 I bought from Alan didn't seem to have a ROM switcher like the bundle of manuals implied.
Guess what I found in the closet? As soon as I saw the way I packed it, I realized that it was the one he gave me. Yes, it's a little more yellowed than the A500 I've been using, but it has the ROM switcher and apparently the 1MB chip RAM hack.
I think I need to move it to the better-looking case one of these days, though.
