I really need a whiteboard. We have a couple small ones at work, and I love them. It's not the same as the big one we had at DriveItAway, but it's still a whiteboard.

I love how smoothly the markers move across the board.

I love how easy it is to erase parts or even the whole thing and restore them to pristine shiny white.

I like working out ideas visually on them.

There's a good spot for one behind the door to the Geek Lair here at home. Maybe I should buy one.

Over at Modern Mechanix, they have a 1940 magazine ad encouraging kids to send off for their free Red Ryder Christmas Reminder Kit. It was a set of cards you were supposed to sign and leave around the house to remind your parents of the fine line of Red Ryder BB guns you were eying for Christmas.

It's not a bad idea, actually. Atari should have done it in the 80s (like they needed to).
