“Thought has been the father of every advance since time began.
‘I didn’t think’ has cost the world millions of dollars.”- Thomas Watson, Founder of IBM
For much of the 20th century, IBM’s one-word slogan was almost as famous as the company itself. ”Think” signs were ubiquitous decor in the company’s offices, and it was even the title of the company’s employee newsletter. They were produced in a variety of colors, materials, and languages for IBM employees and partners world-wide. The signs pictured here are on display at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
